MATTER / HARRISON SAMPLE
Every file. A connected record.
From intake to handoff
Start preserving files when they arrive. Establish a record you can return to as the matter develops.
Bring files into the matter as they arrive.
Keep originals in your own OneDrive, Dropbox or Google Drive.
Record a fingerprint. Check later copies.
Keep files and their supporting record together.
Prepare the case for its next destination.
A timeline built on the record
Follow your matter as the evidence develops. The timeline brings file records, verification checks and available trusted timestamps into one sequence, so you can trace what was recorded and when.
Each verified file has a cryptographic hash: a digital fingerprint calculated from its contents. Compare a later copy with that hash to check whether it matches the recorded version.
When timestamping completes, a trusted timestamp binds the verification record to a point in time. It supports the evidence timeline; it does not establish the file’s original creation date or the truth of its contents.
Your originals stay in your cloud storage. The timeline shows captured events, not a complete history of handling before intake or outside the application.

What the case export contains
The Case Export Package creates a folder in your connected drive with 12 PDF reports: summaries, chronology, issues, communications, document and version indexes, an evidence binder and a verification certificate. The actual report folders are shown alongside.
Report detail depends on the records available. Available source files are copied from your connected drives. If a source cannot be retrieved, a missing-file notice is included.
The sample uses the paid package’s PDF templates and default folder rules: 12 reports and 50 fictional source files, including synthetic photos. The ZIP lets you inspect the folder delivered to your connected drive.
For an additional fingerprint-checking exercise, download the offline snapshot sample. Its manifest and checker belong to that separate format, not the paid reports above.
Extract the ZIP and open index.html. See START-HERE.txt for Node.js checker commands and a change-a-copy exercise. The checker compares file bytes and the manifest signature.
Download the standalone checker and demonstration public key separately. This key is for the example only. For live exports, obtain the issuer’s key independently and keep it with your archival records.
The included pilot-worksheet.csv lets your team record preparation, processing, review and correction time.
The value of preparation time
Bring documents, chronology and supporting records into an organized package. Measure savings after reviewing and correcting the output.
Find recorded fingerprints, available timestamps and verification history when preparing evidence for counsel or potential court use.
See recorded files and outstanding items in one place. Check a later copy against its fingerprint when needed.
Illustrative value
If your team saves:
At an internal staff cost of $100/hour, that represents $150 in recovered staff capacity, or $115 after one $35 export.
Across 10 matters, using the same assumptions:
Illustrative assumptions, not measured customer results. Savings must include setup, processing, review and corrections, with no overlap between tasks. Excludes courtroom time and assumes one export per matter. Recovered capacity is not a guaranteed cash saving. Fingerprinting records a reference for later comparison; it does not establish the truth of a file’s contents or guarantee admissibility. All amounts are in CAD, before any applicable taxes.
Your files stay with you
Use the storage your firm already has. Originals remain in your provider account; DocuProof can read connected files and create processing copies.
The record behind the file
File integrity
Compare a file with its recorded fingerprint to check whether it matches that version.
Trusted timestamps
An available trusted timestamp dates the verification record.
Recorded handling history
History covers captured application events.
Supporting analysis
AI 360 Review helps surface potentially conflicting dates, unsupported statements and missing supporting material in available text and metadata. Use the source references to decide what needs correction or further investigation.
Review extracted text and stored metadata.
Examine the source passage behind a finding. A date difference may have a straightforward explanation; a referenced document may simply be outside the selected files.
Confirm the context, request missing material and correct the record before relying on an output.
The agreement states “Scheduled start: 15 June 2026.” The client’s written account says “Work began on 12 June 2026.” Check whether this refers to early access, preparatory work or a change to the agreed start date.

In the works is to explore the relationships between email messages, imported SMS conversations and matter files. Trace a client’s account, the lawyer’s follow-up and the documents behind each exchange. Use the connections to spot missing records and questions that need a closer review.
Select a person, message or file to follow its connections.
Conversation chronology
Authored demonstration of a relationship view, not a live analysis or an additional set of messages in the sample ZIP. Times are illustrative, shown in Eastern Daylight Time (UTC−04:00), and are not trusted verification timestamps. Solid lines describe relationships in this example; dashed lines require review. A connection does not prove agreement, authorship or causation. SMS refers to imported conversation records, not a live SMS connection.
Bring senders, recipients, message times, attachments and referenced files into one view. Keep observed links separate from suggested matches.
Follow a statement through later questions and supporting records. Distinguish message time, file dates and the time a verification was recorded.
Use relationship analytics to frame a chronology, correspondence review or missing-record report. File fingerprints support version comparison; they do not validate what a message says.
Verification checks whether a file matches its recorded digital fingerprint. A match means the compared bytes match that recorded version.
Authorised recipients can use the available verification links and certificates to check files against recorded fingerprints. Access depends on the sharing permissions and verification material provided with the files.
Keep a downloaded copy of your package and original files in a firm-controlled archive. The downloadable snapshot example includes an offline index, reports, a hash manifest and a checker.
AI assistance is secondary to the evidence record. Available review tools can help with summaries, timelines and potential inconsistencies. Check findings against the linked source evidence; availability varies by workflow.
